I/O Signals
Sometimes
it is desirable to feed your DC discrete or analog signals into
two input modules. EtherTRAK Ethernet
I/O is often perfect for these situations. For discrete input
signals, simply connect the output of your switch or other signal
source to two EtherTRAK discrete input modules. Then these modules
can be polled by up to two master stations or supervisory hosts
simultaneously. If one stops responding then you have the data from
the other as backup. In some instances this same technique can be
applied to other types of signals such as thermocouples, or output
devices such as motors and relays. Contact your local SIXNET
