don’t get us wrong, there is still a place for managed switches.
If you need more advanced features such as SNMP for full network
management, RSTP for complex redundancy schemes or IGMP for IP Multicast
Filtering, then managed switches are the way to go. The SIXNET Managed
Switches also offer open-source Linux flexibility (another SIXNET
exclusive feature!) that allows you to write your own applications
