There are several ways to verify that your connection is secure.
They are:
- You should
see a "locked" padlock icon
at the bottom of your browser.
- Most
browsers, by default, will display a message stating you are
about to enter a secure page. Click on the OK button to continue
to the secure page.
- In the
footer and/or address line of the browser, the URL address
for the page is displayed. A secure URL address starts with
"https:" instead of "http:".
- Within
the Secure Checkout area of our site you may right-click to
verify that the page is secure and your data will be sent
encrypted. To do this within Internet Explorer - right-click
within the Secure Checkout frame, select Properties from the
pop-up menu, this will open the Properties window which
will display the security information, the https:// URL, etc;
within Netscape - right-click within the Secure Checkout frame,
select View Frame Info from the pop-up menu, this will open
the Page Info window, this window shows the https:// URLs,
the security certificate information, etc.
Some versions
of browsers and some firewalls do not permit communication with
a secure server. If communication cannot be established with
the secure server you will not be able to complete your purchase
using the Secure Checkout. In this situation you may complete
your order by using the faxable order form
and faxing it to us or
by calling us directly.
If you have
any concerns about our secure ordering please contact
