Note: Although this gateway is still available, other SIXNET DCS controllers are recommended for new designs where programmability is required. The ST-GT-1210 I/O Controller functionally replaces the ST-GT-ETH-xxP programmable gateway. For even higher performance or to satisfy larger memory requirements, use a SixTRAK IPm.

Select a ST-GT-ETH-xxP when…

…you have any situation in which SixTRAK I/O stations are to connect directly to an Ethernet network.

Key Features

¢

32-bit CPU for real-time power and floating point math

¢

The Main Port on this gateway is the Ethernet Port. AUI and 10BaseT connectors (one each) are provided for connection to any standard Ethernet media. Autdetection enables the active connector for communication. (Use one connector or the other, but not both.)

¢

Simultaneous communications from the Ethernet port and Plant Floor port are possible. (Use a laptop PC for on-the-fly diagnostics.)

¢

Every SixTRAK station requires a gateway to perform I/O updating, communicate with the outside world and power the ST-Bus. There can be only one gateway in each station.

¢

Control tasks can be divided between a computer and a programmable gateway to best suit your application. I/O registers may be used to link the two programs together.

¢

1 megabyte of flash (permanent) memory ensures program expandability.

¢

256K, 1 MB, or 2 MB of battery backed memory for datalogging applications.
