Notes:

The Ethernet port is auto-sensing. You can use a "straight through" Ethernet cable or a crossover Ethernet cable to connect the 10/100BaseT port to a switch, hub or direct to a computer.
Use a "straight through" Ethernet cable and the appropriate RJ45 to DB9 adapter to connect the RS232 Port to a computer or modem. See RS232 Port Wiring for details.
