Connect the original ST-Bus to the top side of the ST-EX-001 base. Connect the expanded ST-Bus to the bottom of the ST-EX-001 base. Also, connect terminal 3 to the panel ground. This will provide a ground path for the shield of the expanded ST-Bus. The original ST-Bus is grounded automatically by the gateway or RTU.
