There is a Sink/Source jumper setting inside the base of the ST-MIX-##### combination I/O module. The default factory setting is: "Sourcing (jumper to -)", which is appropriate for most situations in which a positive voltage is applied to an input to indicate an "ON" condition. Select "Sinking (jumper to +)" for "ON" inputs corresponding to ground closures that require a positive reference as an opposing return connection.
This jumper setting affects the first four inputs only, and must be set to match the style of input wiring (sourcing or sinking) to the first four inputs of the module, or the first four input LEDs of the module will not light under any circumstances.
