…you want field personnel to be able to easily install SIXNET equipment and perform routine maintenance functions, but you do not want them to alter the configuration of the stations.

The Configuration Loader is a special version of the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit that permits configuration information to be loaded into SIXNET equipment. This utility simplifies the instructions that must be given to a field installer and insures that unauthorized changes to the intended configuration will not be made.

Note: The Configuration Loader and the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit share a number of common files. If both of these programs are going to reside on the same computer, it is recommended that both programs be installed and/or updated from the same source (CD or from www.sixnetio.com) to assure that the two programs are compatible versions.
