The Control Room enables multiple Windows programs to simultaneously access I/O from SIXNET stations throughout your system. This advanced Windows software turns I/O stations into shared resources that can be transparently accessed by multiple Windows programs with plug and play ease (in much the same way we all share networked printers in a Windows system).

The lightning fast Control Room puts an end to specialized drivers that link a single program to a specific hardware device using a particular communications device. The Control Room is a DLL (dynamic linked library) that supports simultaneous 16 and 32-bit calls, optimizing performance in Windows 95 and newer operating systems, including XP.
