…you want to talk SIXNET Universal protocol to your SIXNET devices and make the data available via OPC or DDE to your HMI, SCADA, or Windows software. This server has the advantage of linking a Windows computer with SIXNET stations using its native and most advanced interface.

SIXNET has teamed up with our partner, Kepware Products, to create a flexible OPC server that provides all of the advanced functionality of SIXNET systems, such as simultaneous master (traditional polling) and slave (report on exception) I/O transfers. This OPC server utilizes SIXNET communications software so it is capable of running simultaneously with other SIXNET software, such as Sixlog and the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit, even over a serial link!

This server supports all current SIXNET products and uses special packed I/O messages (inputs and outputs all in one message) to talk to distributed I/O stations, making it more efficient than Modbus or other communications.

The SIXNET OPC server is a standard KepServerEx OPC driver that may be combined with any other KepServerEx drivers in a single integrated system. For more information about Kepware OPC servers, please contact Kepware Products.
