There are two ways to use a host computer to retrieve logged data from a SIXNET station. One is to run the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit program and select one of the datalog record-reading functions from the Operations menu. The other way is to specify a Sixlog transfer command from within a Windows application such as:
User programs written in C, Visual Basic etc..
The "Run" command in Windows and other applications
Batch files
Other applications capable of running Windows commands
Sixlog (Sxlogview.exe) command line options are used to specify the transfer characteristics. The command line options are fully documented in the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit help system.
Example Sxlogview command line:
sxlogview.exe my_proj.6pj -TRA="transfer event name"
