By default, Sixlog will log raw (unscaled) analog I/O registers. It is possible to log scaled analog values by performing the following two configuration steps in the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit program:
1. In the Channel Configuration window for the analog I/O module, assign scaling parameters for each analog I/O register. (Refer to the online help in the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit for details.)
2. In the station configuration, add a virtual floating point I/O module for each analog module you wish to scale. In the configuration window for each virtual floating point I/O module, enable the appropriate Special Feature for scaling analog I/O. (Refer to the "Scaling analog values to floats" topic in the SIXNET I/O Tool Kit online help for details.) Load this new configuration into your station.
In your Sixlog configuration, select the floating point registers for datalogging.
