Use the SIXNET VT-MODEM Setup Wizard to quickly configure all SIXNET modem models. In most applications, no knowledge of modem AT commands or S register contents is necessary. Pre-configured profiles (*.6ms files) for common applications are provided for your convenience.
Note: All VT-MODEM-2 and VT-MODEM-3 models must be configured using the VT-MODEM Setup Wizard. It is not possible to configure the self-dial parameters and RS422 / RS485 parameters of these modems from terminal software, such as Windows HyperTerminal.

NOTE: Issuing AT commands or changing S-registers while using a terminal emulator may overwrite settings made by the VT-MODEM Setup Wizard and result in unintentional modem settings.
NOTE: Some computer and PLC programs send AT command strings to the modem. This could result in unintentional modem settings.
